You chose to go on a trip to Sapa, but you have to arrive first! Your best strategy is to take a short-haul train from Hanoi, which will take the whole night, but you will rest in the evening and days traveling! It’s perfectly acceptable, with a bed, and you’re supposed to make room for three more.
You will also want to consider going to the visiting office if you are not sure where to go and how to do so. They can arrange your train and trip with families at an affordable cost.
When you appear in Sapa, a humble community near the outskirts of China, you will indulge in the gatherings of neighborhood ladies who will move towards you need to talk to you and visit you. This is a trick they use to get attached to you while you walk around sapa trek. This is the central issue: if you don’t get rid of these ladies now, they’ll stay with you all day. They will roam close to you as you go, chatting with you as you try to enjoy the scenery, and will generally be overly helpful during your trip in Vietnam. Sounds great, doesn’t it? The weirdness goes away before long, especially when they approach you at the end of the day to get the money for joy.
This is why it’s essential to be upfront with them from your first starting point. The ladies in solid colors told us that we don’t want to hang out with them that day. They felt somewhat confused and steamy, but we didn’t need them to spend all day with us before offering them any money. We imagined that it was more fun than driving them throughout the day. The others in our gathering did not utter a single word, ending up at the end of the day. It was a tragic circumstance.
If you pay for them, they’ll come back the next day and walk around with you again.
So when you travel to Sapa, make sure you are ready for gatherings, and be gentle and assertive when you say you don’t need any help. It makes sense for you and the communities of enthusiastic ladies that pause.
